  Laila & Leandro Oliver (ARGENTINE)

 

Dancers, choreographers and teachers of Argentine Tango since 1997. In that year they arrived to Japan for the first time with "Nissan Tango Buenos Aires". Since then, they have danced in the most prestigious argentine tango companies, such as "Copes Tango Copes" (from Juan Carlos Copes), "Tanguera" (as main dancer) and "Tango Emocion" (from Mora Godoy, as main dancer and choreographer), and others. In addition to this, they have represented the Argentine country in the Universal Expo Aichi 2005, in Japan. Since 1999 and even nowadays, they are working with Miguel Angel Zotto at "Tango x 2" company. Besides, and in an independent way, they travel around the world teaching and spreading their own technique.

Fabio Robles & Ana Andre (AUSTRALIA)

 

Fabio Robles had already attained the prestigious qualification of Maestro Superior de Danzas Folkloricas and was a registered dance teacher in Argentina when he arrived in Australia in 1981. He was 14 years old.
Recognized internationally as a virtuoso dancer of Malambo, Fabio pioneered Latin American Dance in Australia . Currently Fabio is an original cast member of the world premier hit musical Dirty Dancing, as a dancer, Singer and choreographer.
Fabio has achieved recognition as the most outstanding Choreographer and Director specialising in Latin American culture. In 2002 Fabio was awarded by Her Majesty Queen Elisabeth The Second, Queen of Australia and the Prime Minister of Australia Mr John Howard a Centenary medal to mark Fabio's achievements for services to multicultural music and the Latin American communities in Australia .
Exemplifying the new generation of Tango Dancers in Australia . Ana Cristina Andre studied Calesthenics, Modern Dance, Jazz, and Martial Arts.
Ana eventually combined all her talents to provide a strong basis for Latin American Dance. She began her Latin American training with Fabio Robles at Back to Back Australia Latin American Performing Arts Studio, were she is now teaching and managing.
In August 2005 Fabio Robles and Ana Andre were the winners of the Australian Tango Championships held at the Opera House in Sydney .
Fabio Robles and Ana Andre have been dancing Tango together since 2002 and are now, together recognized as the foremost exponents of the Argentinean Tango in Australia .

 

     

Laszlo & Maria(HUNGARY)

Laszlo Budai, the Hungarian Champion who won also the IDO world championships two times is ready to introduce himself, and his partner Maria Glotz to the audience of Japan.

Laszlo Budai and his partner Maria, have a small tango theater and lots of students in Budapest. They teach and perform not only in Budapest, but several countries in Europe and sometimes overseas as well.

 

 


Murat GURMEN & Ayse KARAOGLU
(TURKEY)

2004 and 2005, they participated in World Tango Festival which held in Buenos Aires.

And they also participated in Paris Tango Renaissance which held in 2006, and International

Tango Festival since 2006.


Mikhail & Alexandra (RUSSIA)


 

 

They graduated ballet academy, and work as a ballet dancer and a choreographer.

Since 2005, they start to work as a professional tango dancer, and they participated in the show

" Tango Dream" which held in St.Petersburg in cooperation with " Esquina Carlos Gardel"

Carlos & Eliana (COLOMBIA)

 

Born in Colombia . In 2003 world tango championship stage dance FINALIST. In 2004 Central America
championship stage dance CHAMPION.In 2005 Japan open tango championships salon
tango CHAMPION. They represent the tango of Colombia . In 2006 became a teacher of the A.T.D.A.

 

 

Marcelo & Laura (COLOMBIA)

They represented Colombia in many international events. CHAMPION in the Colombia Tango Contest.

 

1975 Blackpool International Exhibition Competition 2 nd place
1999 achieved the prize of gratitude from the Argentine embassy for the promotion of the Argentine Tango in japan.
The first japanese ever to study tango argentino in 1987. In 1990 they found the Argentine Tango dance company presenting the annual show TANGO LIBERTAD. The show was televised for national television in two times and presented in Argentine in 1992 and 1994.They also taught tango for the first time in TV. in a 9 week special program TANGO YOU TONIGHT.

2004, they become the first Asia Tango Dance Championship champion.
2007, The Third Japan Open Tango Chmpionship champion( the group of salon tango).
They perform in TANGO LIBERTAD since 2003. Owner of the Tango Tokyo Academy .

Yanagido& Natsuki (JAPAN)

 1990, he became a professor of Argentine Tango Dance Association, and performs in
TANGO LIBERTAD since then. 2008, at the Second Korea Open Tango Dance Championship, they
became the champion in both salon tango and stage tango.

 
Takami & Joe(JAPAN)

Before, he was HIP HOP dancer and turn to tango in 1999. They perform in TANGO LIBERTAD since 2006.

Enrique & Yuki (JAPAN)

 

Enrique debut as a professional tango dancer at 1998, and performs in " Bar Sur" in Buenos Aires as a regular dancer.

Yuki starts ballet at the age of 9. She participated in the regularly stage of the Star Dancers Ballet  Group from 1981~1987. Now the professor of Argentine Tango Dance Association.

 

CRISTIAN & NAO (JAPAN)


Cristian got the fourth place(the group of stage tango) at the World Tango Championship in 2005.
Nao got the second place( the group of salon tango) at Japan Open Tango Championship.
They start dancing as a partner in 2008. Now they belong to STUDIO MOMO.

 


Tomoko & Eiichiro (JAPAN)

 

2008, they became the Fifth Asia Tango Dance Championship champion( the group of stage tango).
They act as a member of  Los Compadritos


 

Hiroshi & Kyoko (JAPAN)

2007, the Fifth World Tango Dance Championship third place at the group of stage tango and sixth place at the group of salon tango.

2008, at the Fifth Asia Tango Dance Championship, they became the champion( the group of salon tango).

Diego & Rica (JAPAN)

 

 

Rica is the owner of the dance school “Caminito”

Diego is the finalist of the sixth World Tango Dance Championship( at the category of Stage Tango ).

Rika got fourth place at the third World Tango Dance Championship( the category of Stage Tango).

Takashi & Megumi (JAPAN)

2006, they became the professor of Argentine Tango Dance Association.

2008, at the Second Korea Open Tango Dance Championship, they got second place in both

salon tango and stage tango.
